EASA Part 21 subpart J; Design Organisation

April 9 @ 08:30 - April 11 @ 17:30

We are proud to announce the continuation of the collaboration between Pieter Ruitenberg (PAR consulting, PAR) and Margriet Bredewold (Co-Guard GmbH, CoG) in the field of Part 21 initial and continuation training. For 2019, we have developed a newly designed programme that takes place in Reinach. The focus of our seminars is on aviation professionals working in dedicated parts of the aviation environment. During the training, new and relevant requirements in relation to Part 21, safety, OSD and performance are introduced and translated into practical performance in your organisation. All training is performed by well experienced aviation professionals who have worked for various aviation industries and authorities.

All training sessions are based on the PAR/ CoG developed modules with dedicated workshops during the day. These workshops will address the theory based on actual situations in the aviation industry and can be fine-tuned based on the working environment of the participants.

Special “in house” training programs can be provided on request for which a dedicated leaflet is available.

For all seminars the following conditions apply:

  • Start of the seminar is at 08.30 with an expected closure around 17.30.

  • All seminars include drinks during the breaks and a light lunch.

  • Documentation related to the seminar included.

Please, note that participation is only confirmed when the seminar has been paid.

PAR consulting and Co-Guard GmbH reserve the right to change the dates or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or not enough participants. Restitution of the full amount follow when a course is cancelled, or when due to a change in date a participant is not able to come.

Cancellation of a course is possible until 30 days before the first training dates. Later cancellations cannot be refunded.

EASA Part 21 subpart J; Design Organisation

Target audience is all staff involved in tasks performed under the Part 21 subpart J (Design) approval

Dates & Location: 09 –11 April 2019; Business Parc Reinach.

A dedicated training for professionals working under, or in the process of obtaining, a Design approval. The training gives an overview of all organisational, personal and process requirements of Part 21 subpart J and the associated scope of work to enable the organisation to show compliance of the designs. All people in the organisation have defined rules and obligations which have to be demonstrated. However, the performance of our organisation stands or falls by working within the EASA approved scope of work and the handbook.

All the above topics are addressed against key performance indicators on technical, commercial and schedule constraints which need to assure the traceability of the work performed by the design organisation and the use of that data by the (EASA approved) production organisation. How can we use the regulation to our advantage to create and work in an agile organisation? Based on practice experience in many approved organisations and, we created case studies and role plays to create awareness for the participants of the various aspects and their importance.

Program: The seminar addresses the following topics:

  • Design Assurance System

  • Development processes and classification of developments

  • Organisational requirements and processes

  • Introduction to tasks and obligations

  • Change process and configuration management

  • Document control and release of data.

  • Distribution of data

  • Qualification of suppliers and subcontractors

  • Mandatory relations of design organisations and means to control
