Certification Verification Engineer (CVE) Seminar

March 12 @ 08:30 - March 14 @ 17:30

We are proud to announce the continuation of the collaboration between Pieter Ruitenberg (PAR consulting, PAR) and Margriet Bredewold (Co-Guard GmbH, CoG) in the field of Part 21 initial and continuation training. For 2019, we have developed a newly designed programme that takes place in Reinach. The focus of our seminars is on aviation professionals working in dedicated parts of the aviation environment. During the training, new and relevant requirements in relation to Part 21, safety, OSD and performance are introduced and translated into practical performance in your organisation. All training is performed by well experienced aviation professionals who have worked for various aviation industries and authorities.

All training sessions are based on the PAR/ CoG developed modules with dedicated workshops during the day. These workshops will address the theory based on actual situations in the aviation industry and can be fine-tuned based on the working environment of the participants.

Special “in house” training programs can be provided on request for which a dedicated leaflet is available.

For all seminars the following conditions apply:

  • Start of the seminar is at 08.30 with an expected closure around 17.30.

  • All seminars include drinks during the breaks and a light lunch.

  • Documentation related to the seminar included.

Please, note that participation is only confirmed when the seminar has been paid.

PAR consulting and Co-Guard GmbH reserve the right to change the dates or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or not enough participants. Restitution of the full amount follow when a course is cancelled, or when due to a change in date a participant is not able to come.

Cancellation of a course is possible until 30 days before the first training dates. Later cancellations cannot be refunded.

Certification Verification Engineer (CVE) Seminar

Target audience: more or less experienced CVE’s, CVE’s to be, engineers and others (with an interest) in the Part 21 organisation.

Dates & Location: 12 – 14 March 2019; Business Parc Reinach

A CVE fulfils an important (safety) role in aircraft design, manufacturing, maintenance and ultimately operation, a role that should be well understood within any Part 21 organisation. (S)he is an independent person in/of the Part 21 organisation responsible for the technical approval of demonstrated compliance with processes, technical designs and environmental protection requirements.

In this seminar we focus initially on the regulations and the setup of processes and the role of the CVE within. What are the responsibilities of a CVE, what does ‘independence’ mean in your organisation and what are challenges and pitfalls often seen in practice? After this workshop an organisation and the CVE are ready to put everything in place efficiently and successfully.

Program: The seminar addresses the following topics:

  • EASA & International regulations

  • Role and Responsibilities of the CVE

  • Part 21 certification process introduction

  • Performing the certification process flow and requirements for engineering

  • Performing the certification process flow and requirements for production

  • Testing & Conformity statement requirements

  • Selection of requirements

  • Means of compliance selection

  • Independent position in the above processes

  • From Compliance to Performance: changes in EASA approach
